Veh: Little Changes To The Line-Up!

During today’s pre match press conference Eintracht manager Armin Veh offered his views on the situation. The Eagles will play the Bundesliga 2 top clash away to Fortuna Düsseldorf tomorrow evening at 20.15h CET.

Mr Veh, what is your opinion on the match being refereed by Dr Felix Brych?
Mr Brych is a very experienced referee who has been match official in plenty of domestic and international top matches.

Does the meeting with Fortuna feel like a Bundesliga fixture?
No, but looking at the tradition and the quality of both teams the match could also take place in Bundesliga.

With Amedick’s muscle injury you might have to change the back four?
Yes, Amedick will be out for around 10 days. Anderson will replace him as he’s fully fit again. Most likely there will be little changes to the line-up.

Was the win against Braunschweig good for the moral?
A win is always good to start after a long break, it gave the team a boost. I hope we will be able to show that against Düsseldorf and to carry out our plans.

How do you see the Fortuna team?
They are a threat with set piece situations, the have fast players and move well on the wings plus they are very good at home.

How are you planning to cope with that?
We need discipline and confidence on the ball, we will have to be solid at the back and fluent in our passing towards the opponent’s goal.
