Veh: Have To Keep Going And Win!

Ahead of the last home match in this first season-half Eintracht manager Armin Veh answered the media's questions in the weekly press conference. Kick-off against Karlsruher SC is on Saturday at 13h CET.

Mr Veh, did Bamba Anderson not train today?
Yes, that is correct but we do hope that he will cover the full training session with the team again tomorrow. I also think he will be able to play on Saturday.

Who will be in goal?
Thomas Kessler will play in goal in any case on Saturday, Oka Nikolov will not be in the squad. Mario Miltner will join the team from the Under-23.

What is your impression of the team, did they get over the defeat against 1860?
Yes I believe so, the team is focused on the match against Karlsruhe on Saturday. It did not appear to me that they had to recover from the defeat anyhow.

How is Rob Friend?
He will not be in the starting 11, after all he could not train properly for three weeks. But he will be in the squad.

What is the latest on Mo Idrissou?
He will not be in the team, I can say that for sure. He started cycling but we have to wait and see. We will see if he might be able to join the team in training from mid next week.

What do you expect from the match against KSC?
Not an easy one at any rate, but a heated game - Karlsruhe are looking to keep up with the teams above them. Our matches against Aachen and Ingolstadt proved just how difficult it can be for us. We will have to perform well again to win this match. And we will not underestimate our opponent, if we are not fully focused right from the start we might concede a goal right away as it happened against 1860. We have to keep going and win the game.
