Matthias Lehmann - First Goal Against Eintracht
"Matze" as he is nicknamed spent the recent two seasons at Hamburg 'cult' club St. Pauli where he only missed two league games (one each in 2. Bundesliga and Bundesliga), he was Eintracht's very first signing this summer. Previous clubs were SSV Ulm where he started his professional career in the year 2000, TSV 1860 München and Alemannia Aachen.
He comes as an experienced 2. Bundesliga player (166 appearances, 28 goals) who also played a top flight season at each of his previous three clubs (80 appearances, 9 goals). Lehmann scored his very first Bundesliga goal against Eintracht in the 2003/04 season during the Eagle's 0-3 home defeat against 1860. At St. Pauli he was highly rated for his spirit and ambition on the pitch. He featured in numerous matches for various Germany youth teams from the Under-15 through to the Under-21.

Thomas Kessler - Beach Volleyball & Poker
Cologne born Kessler joined the second team of 1. FC Köln in the 2004/05 season and moved up into the first team two years later (6 2. Bundesliga and 5 Bundesliga matches). Last season he joined FC St. Pauli on loan and featured in 26 games. The tall goalkeeper (height: 1,92m / weight 92kg) was part of the Under-16 to Under-18 German national teams.
He was recently declared as Eintracht's number one for the season starting on Friday. Beach Volleyball and Poker are amongst his hobbies, and Rio Ferdinand, Roberto Carlos and Lionel Messi are part of his all time dream team.
