Back in training

Head coach Adi Hütter welcomed back two of his players on Wednesday as Eintracht underwent their first training session of the week.

After giving his players three days off between Sunday and Tuesday, Adi Hütter and his Eintracht squad were back on the training pitch on Wednesday morning.

Even Ndicka trained with his team-mates for the first time in over a month, while David Abraham was also involved after being forced off against TSG Hoffenheim with a thigh problem. “He’s not just an exceptional professional, but we’re also very close on a personal level,” fellow defender Tuta said of the Argentine after training. “I know I need to take a leaf out of David’s book if I want to follow a similar development path at some stage.”

Eintracht travel to 1. FC Köln in their fourth league match of the season on Sunday (kick-off 15:30 CEST). The squad will take part in two more sessions on Thursday before being put through their paces once more on Friday.
