Ajdin Hrustic on…
…lessons from Eintracht’s first game of 2022: “The defeat against Dortmund is difficult to accept because it was avoidable – we all know that. We played well overall. Surrendering a 2-0 lead is unlike us, but there’s no shame in losing to such strong opponents. It won’t knock us off our stride.”
…his development: “Overall, the first season wasn’t perfect on a personal level because I didn’t play much. This season I also had a spell without making an appearance, but it’s important to keep at it here. I try to stake my claim in training and take my chance. I’m working hard to be given more playing time again.”
…Frankfurt as a city: “I felt very happy here right from the beginning. Everyone gave me a very warm welcome. I love playing for Eintracht Frankfurt and obviously want to do so as often as possible. That’s what every footballer wants.”
…the UEFA Europa League: “If we continue to play and perform like we have so far, anything is possible. This season still has a long way to go. We’re taking everything one step at a time and one game at a time.”
