Goalkeeper Elias Bördner has agreed a move to FC Viktoria Köln 1904 on loan for the 2021/22 campaign.
Bördner, who's contract in Frankfurt is valid until 30 June 2023, made his competitive debut for the Eagles in the 3-1 win over SC Freiburg on the last day of the 2020/21 season, becoming the first goalkeeper born in 2002 to feature in the Bundesliga. The Weilburg native signed professional terms with Eintracht upon turning 19 in February.
Bördner joined Eintracht in summer 2017 from youth academy partner club TSG Wieseck. He made 17 appearances for the U17 side and a further seven for the U19s in the teams' respective Youth Bundesliga campaigns.
