Alexandra Johannsdottir has been called up for the Iceland squad for the Women’s European Championship in England, while Lara Prasnikar is joining up with Slovenia ahead of their World Cup qualifiers.

Eintracht Women already have their first player set to take part in the Women’s European Championship in England. Iceland have finalised their squad for the tournament, and it includes SGE’s Alexandra Johannsdottir. The 22-year-old will join up with the squad on 20 June to prepare for the EURO. The midfielder is still on loan until 30 June with Iceland top-tier side Breiðablik Kópavogur, for whom she has scored two goals in the past five games.

Forward Lara Prasnikar will also be joining up with her country’s squad on 20 June, with Slovenia having a four-day camp to prepare for the World Cup qualifiers next September.
