The German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed the dates and kick-off times of all 32 first-round ties of the 2026/27 DFB Cup. Eintracht’s first competitive game of the new season – against SC St. Tönis 1911/20 – will take place at 18:00 CEST on Friday 21 August.
Tie to be played at Grotenburg-Stadion
The cup tie against the fifth-tier outfit from the town of Tönisvorst, North Rhine-Westphalia, will be held at the Grotenburg-Stadion in Krefeld – a former Bundesliga venue and current home of KFC Uerdingen 05.

- 27/28 October 2026: Second round
- 1/2 December 2026: Round of 16
- 2, 3, 9 and 10 February 2027: Quarter-finals
- 20/21 April 2027: Semi-finals
