Eintracht Women map out winter break schedule

The players will be back for performance tests on Sunday with training beginning on Monday, followed by friendlies and a short training camp in Wolfsburg.

The Eagles have had a three-week break since opening the second half of this season’s fixtures with a 5-0 win away to SV Werder Bremen. The team are now set to return to training, with the next round of the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga coming on Sunday 7 February. Matchday 19 sees SGE face MSV Duisburg at home, with kick-off at 14:00 CET at the Stadion am Brentanobad.

Players back on Sunday

The staff will get the winter training under way with performance tests this Sunday, 10 January, before coach Niko Arnautis puts the squad through their paces on Monday afternoon for their first session back on the pitch.

A friendly is planned for Saturday 16 January, with the opponent yet to be confirmed. The highlight of the winter break ahead of the rest of the 2020/21 campaign will be a short training camp in Wolfsburg, with friendlies on Wednesday 20 January at 18:00 CET and three days later on the Saturday at 13:00 CET, against last season’s double-winners VfL Wolfsburg.
