Eintracht Frankfurt have bolstered their back line with the signing of experienced Dutch defender Siri Worm, who has joined on a two-year contract until 30 June 2023.
The 29-year-old left English Women’s Super League club Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and has been on trial with SGE since the start of pre-season. The versatile defender also got special permission to play in the two friendlies against FC Carl Zeiss Jena (3-1) and TSG Hoffenheim (1-2).

Worm has made 41 appearances for the Dutch senior national team since 2012, and won five league titles with FC Twente as well as the cup in 2015.
“The FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga is a really strong league and Eintracht Frankfurt are a highly ambitious club,” said Worm. “I hope to be able to put my experience to good use with Eintracht!”
“She has very good technical ability, a great understanding of the game and a strong passing game,” said coach Niko Arnautis. “I’m sure that her ability and her character will be a great addition to our squad.”
