Eintracht Women won 6-0 at home to FC Carl Zeiss Jena on Friday night.

Eintracht Women racked up a comfortable 6-0 win at home to FC Carl Zeiss Jena on Matchday 8 of the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga.

Niko Arnautis’ charges dominated the promoted side from the beginning and opened the scoring with a brilliant goal from Barbara Dunst in the seventh minute. Laura Freigang (19’), a Denise Landmann own goal (27’) and Lara Prasnikar (34’) ensured a clear lead at the break.

The 1,040 spectators at the Stadion am Brentanobad continued to watch Eintracht dominate in the second period, with Dunst (49’) and Shekiera Martinez (52’) wrapping up a convincing and fully deserved 6-0 success.

Head coach Niko Arnautis: “We did our job well and scored some very nice goals. We’ve now got 18 points after eight games, which is four more than we had at the same stage last season. With that in mind, the team deserve a huge amount of credit for what they’ve done over the past few months.”
