The German Football League (DFL) has published the dates and kick-off times for the first six matchdays of the 2021/22 Bundesliga season. Eintracht will have three traditional Saturday 15:30 CEST kick-offs in August and September, as well as two hotly anticipated evening fixtures.
The campaign will kick off on Saturday 14 August at 18:30 CEST away to Borussia Dortmund. Fellow Champions League qualifiers VfL Wolfsburg are the opposition on Sunday 19 September at 19:30 CEST, again away from home. The week before that (12 September, 15:30 CEST), the Eagles host VfB Stuttgart.
The first home match of the season is against FC Augsburg on Saturday 21 August at 15:30 CEST, with the matches at DSC Arminia Bielefeld on 28 August and at home to 1. FC Köln on 25 September also kicking off at the same time.
