Derby Time! - The Preview

A true winter warmer is waiting for Eintracht fans on Saturday at 15.30h CET. FSV Mainz 05 are a surprise team this Bundesliga season, currently ranked second with 30 points. But they never managed a Bundesliga win against the Eagles - and it's a derby too!

Possible Line-Ups

EINTRACHT: Nikolov – Jung, Russ, Vasoski, Tzavellas – Schwegler, Köhler – Ochs, Meier, Altintop – Gekas.

MAINZ: Wetklo – Zabavnik, Bungert, Noveski, Fathi – Karhan, Polanski – Schürrle, Ivanschitz, Fuchs – Szalai.

Attendance

Commerzbank Arena is nearly sold out (51,100 so far). Around 400 away tickets are available from 13:30h on the matchday.

Colours

Eintracht will play in traditional red and black, Mainz in white and red.

Cup & Winter Break

The German DFB Cup round of the last 16 sees Eintracht travelling to 2. Bundesliga team Alemannia Aachen on December 22nd. This is the last fixture before the winter break and the Christmas holidays. On 2nd of January Eintracht will attend the indoor mini tournament ‘Licher Hessen Cup 2011’. Bundesliga will restart around January the 15th.
