“Everything after that isn’t important”

Oliver Glasner directs the focus fully on Hoffenheim while hoping for impetus for the remainder of the season. The boss also provides an update on the availability of three players.

Oliver Glasner on...

...personnel: “With Sow, we're waiting until the final training session to see if he'll be in the squad. We’re not sure about Trapp – he can still feel something in his hand and he’ll make the call himself. Lenz has broken his little toe and won't be available.”

...training this week: “The mood’s good in the camp, everything's going as planned. The first thing I said to the team is that we're looking forwards. There’s plenty we can still achieve and that’s what we want to do.”

We’ll do everything to pick up as many points as possible.

Head coach Oliver Glasner

...opponents TSG Hoffenheim: “Hoffenheim have a high-quality team, with clear patterns in attack and they play football that is very slick with lots of variety. It’s the kind of style that’s suited us up until now. We’re also the type of team that tries to find creative solutions. It’s certainly going to be a great game in front of a full house. In the reverse fixture we didn’t have 100 per cent focus after playing in the Europa League. We don’t want to make that mistake again.”

...the objectives in the Bundesliga: “In this crucial period, we can’t relax – we need to summon all our strength and give it one last push. It’s important for us to pick up a home win and get the confidence we need for the final four weeks from a strong performance. I want to see the best performance against Hoffenheim. Everything after that isn’t important at the moment. We’re not happy with our current points tally in the Bundesliga. We’ll do everything to pick up as many points as possible.”
